Working on prestigious conservation projects, every pipe and wire has to be planned with meticulous detail.
Our work in this sector includes everything from designing the intricate building services alterations (for Historic Royal Palaces) to a multi-dimensional project for the National Trust at Knole in Kent.
At Knole, we were originally appointed as engineering consultants for the purpose-designed conservation studios and a new café building, but our commission was extended to take in the refurbishment of the main show rooms. This included installing systems to control the internal environment to protect the building fabric and the irreplaceable objects found within.
