A huge congratulations to George Sigalas and Maria Valkova who have passed their Certified European Passive House Designer Training (CEPH) exam and are now officially Passivhaus designers! This is a well-deserved and very fitting reward for both George and Maria’s continued efforts.
George and Maria are part of the wider QODA sustainability team both having worked on a variety of projects including Commercial, Community, Education, Residential, and Heritage buildings.
As a Principal Sustainability Engineer, George is responsible for Energy Analysis, Building Thermal Modelling, Low or Zero Carbon Technology Feasibility Assessment, Thermal Comfort Analysis, Daylight Analysis, and Passive Design Optimization. George is also an accredited CIBSE Level 5 Low Carbon Energy Assessor and an On Construction Domestic Energy Assessor.
As a Sustainability Engineer Maria’s role is to collaborate with senior staff to ensure all schemes meet the client’s brief and expectations.
