Congratulations are in order for The Ned Hotel after it won not one, not two or three, but four awards on Monday 20th November at the 2017 AHEAD Awards, including The AHEAD Europe Hotel of the Year. The other categories won were: Event Spaces, Restaurant (Millie’s Lounge) and Spa & Wellness (Ned’s Club Relax). QODA has been appointed as part of the design team to transform and redevelop Gainsborough’s House in Sudbury, the childhood home of Thomas Gainsborough (1727–88), one of the greatest artists in the history of British art. The project will see the renovation and redisplay of the historic house to interpret, entertain and inspire about the artist, his family and social context. Knole – New Conservation Studio

The new Conservation Studio at Knole is part of a £19.8 million building, conservation and restoration project, supported by a major National Lottery grant, which will safeguard Knole from generations of decay. The two-storey Conservation Studio will provide a permanent space for the care of Knole’s treasured collection and has been created on site within a former medieval barn. Waterloo International Terminal

The redevelopment of Waterloo International Terminal is gathering pace. Currently London Waterloo is Britain’s busiest station and is forecast to grow by 40% over the next 30 years. Hence the mothballed Eurostar terminal is to be brought back into use by Network Rail and South West trains.
