James Stubbings | Director
James is responsible for the entire lifecycle of a project from early conception stages to project completion and post-handover. James has over 16 years of experience in MEP consultancy with a keen understanding of sustainability principles, commercial awareness, dFMA, detailed design, building commissioning, and operation.
James Botwood | Director
James is the Director of the Norwich office and leads the MEP team. James has over 18 years of experience in contracting and consultancy. With a proven track record of building and leading engineering teams, James aims to provide QODA’s clients with innovation, quality, and responsiveness from an experienced, professional, and friendly team.
Kevin Shelley | Associate
Kevin has 30 years’ experience in the construction industry working on diverse projects in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East. Having worked at all levels and stages of construction projects, Kevin fully understands the activities associated with complex building services and infrastructure installations.
Andrew Fisher | Associate Director
Andrew has over 15 years’ experience working with national Contractors and Architects on numerous large-scale developments providing strategic sustainability and energy consultancy. He adopts a hands-on approach, supporting projects from conception, through construction to occupation. This includes working with suppliers, contractors, clients, and manufacturers to develop products and processes to achieve whole scheme solutions. Andrew also delivers formal training on both the Passivhaus Certified Tradesperson and Certified Designer courses.
Sarah Price | Technical Director
As an Technical Director Sarah has over a decade of experience in the construction industry and specialises in Passivhaus, sustainability, low energy buildings, and retrofit. Sarah has worked on over 90 certified Passivhaus dwellings across the country including the first Passivhaus leisure centre, and the construction stage of the largest Passivhaus development in the UK. She has worked with Decarbonsiation Fund projects, and with many clients helping them meet their climate emergency targets, and delivering a route to zero carbon.
She is a an AECB expert advisor, and AECB Carbonlite Retrofit Assessor, and a member of the Retrofit Steering Task Group set up after the Each Home Counts review. Sarah also has a RICS Certificate in Construction Project Management and is BSRIA Soft Landings Framework Trained.
Sarah is the technical author for PAS 2035:2019 and PAS 2030 retrofit standard amendments (2021), and the lead technical author for the BEIS Retrofit IWI guide, published (2021). She was the co-author for the Passivhaus Trust’s Technical Guidance on Airtightness (2020) and the technical author for the retrofit standard (2020).

Sam Flanagan | Associate
Sam has 16 years’ experience in Mechanical Services Design and Coordination and has been involved at all areas of the discipline from concept design through to handover. His approach focuses on collaboration, and he seeks to encourages conversation and coordination at an early stage, maintaining communication throughout the design process.
Rick Wheal | Sustainability Consultant
Rick is a Sustainability Consultant and Chartered Engineer specialising in renewable energy technologies, highly sustainable design, and research. He has experience of leading multi-disciplinary design teams and master-planning on a variety of projects across multiple sectors including Heritage, Education, Community, Commercial, and Retail. He is committed to the concept of a whole-building approach to design and endorses the close coordination of all disciplines in the design team to deliver fully integrated solutions to the client.
Rick has been a contributor to over 40 articles for various journals including the United National Environment Programme (UNEP) ‘Green Economy’ report and "Photovoltaics (PV) in Social Housing" International Journal of Ambient Energy.
Tom Walkley | Associate
As an Associate, Tom utilises his strong interpersonal skills, his drive for climate action, and his thorough knowledge from multiple sectors to convey complex information to a variety of stakeholders and clients.
Ubaka Attah | Associate
As an Associate with 10 + years' experience, Ubaka is responsible for the Project management and the design and specification of services from concept to completion, helping ensure delivery of the scheme to meet the Client's brief and expectations.

Simon Dove | Technical Director
Simon Dove has been working with light for his entire 30-year career. He’s worked across many sectors on designs large and small but, with any project, feels a collaborative approach is essential for a fruitful outcome.
He believes lighting design should have people at its core – allowing them to perform tasks, and explore and navigate safely. To enjoy their environment and control unwanted light. That we should constantly explore new ideas and technologies to deliver creative design solutions, but not discard established concepts.

Anthony is responsible for resourcing in the Oxford office and has an overview of many project, offering support to internal & external design teams and our valued clients.
At a project level, Anthony is responsible for mechanical services design for projects from inception to completion, helping to ensure the delivery of each scheme to meet with the clients brief and expectations, particularly from a cost and technical perspective.

Jeremy strives to provide all clients with a high level of services. The enthusiasm he brings to each project ensures all solutions for buildings services have been explored with a particular interest in lighting solutions to provide highly energy efficient and visually inspiring designs.
Matthew Edwards | Associate
Matthew is responsible for leading the design of various projects from inception to completion, helping to ensure delivery of the scheme to meet with the clients brief and expectations, while delivering the best possible outcome for the end user. Matthew has particular interest in promoting the adoption and application of innovative low carbon technologies to ensure the built environment is fulfilling its obligations in response to the climate emergency.

Oliver heads up the Bristol office. He adopts a logical approach to projects and is responsible for the management and design of various projects from inception to completion.
