Culford School, Library

The QODA team were initially appointed to work with the design team on the development of a new library building in the school grounds. Through a continuing relationship we have advised the school on various matters across the estate including boiler room refurbishments, electrical infrastructure upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and an ongoing maintenance strategy.

Whiteley Village

Whiteley Village is set in 225 acres of beautiful surrey woodland. The Village contains 262 alms-houses, a care home and extra care apartments for nearly 500 older people of limited means. Whiteley Futures is an ambitious plan for the development of the site to enable new approaches to care and sustainable accommodation. The development includes 4 sites including 62 new alms-houses, a care hub, the refurbishment of Whiteley House (Listed Building) and Whiteley Walk (40 apartments for private sale).

Case Study

Bowyer Tower (Tower of London)

Scope: Historic Royal Palaces have appointed QODA to design the building services alterations within the Bowyer Tower as part of the on-going Wall Walks project at the Tower of London. The project is based on collaborative partnering principles using the JCT Construction Excellence contract and the team includes Carden and Godfrey, Hockley and Dawson and Cathedral Works.
