QODA’s Alex Bunn Presents at the UK’s Passivhaus Conference

Last week at the Passivhaus Conference, QODAs Principal Engineer, Alex Bunn, had the privilege of presenting the completion of the UK’s largest certified Passivhaus project, Purdown View – what a journey it’s been!
Alex and team went beyond sharing the technical successes but also the invaluable lessons learnt during the design and construction process. One of the major factors behind the project’s success was working with an engaged and dedicated team. The enthusiasm to deliver a Passivhaus Development at this scale ran through every party involved, which was crucial in overcoming challenges.
A particular highlight was sharing design evolution insights into our next-generation student accommodation project with UWE, which we believe will set a new benchmark for sustainable living in education.
