Welcoming Our New Public Health Specialist – Geoff Kent

28 April 2020
Geoff joined QODA in March this year and brings with him more than 40 years’ experience in the Public Health sector of the construction industry. He has not only worked nationally in the UK but also abroad and extensively in the Middle East. With particular areas of knowledge and expertise in sewerage, above and below ground drainage, domestic water systems and wet infrastructure design, Geoff has provided Public Health designs from concept to completion across a variety of sectors and for Infrastructure and master planning projects.
By offering enhanced Public Health engineering expertise, that includes below ground drainage, in house, QODA removes pressure from Structural Engineers by providing a comprehensive and complete design of above and below ground drainage. This reinforces the balance throughout the whole design team, not only helping the project’s time frame but also keeping the budget low for the client.
Geoff’s experience in countries where fresh water supplies are limited has allowed him to gather a broad knowledge of water economy measures that can be coordinated with QODA’s sustainability team to offer a wider range of sustainable solutions to our Clients.
With Geoff’s wealth of knowledge and specialist interest, QODA can continue to grow our offering to each of our clients, across projects and sectors. Geoff will help to ensure the smooth running of projects while taking on complex projects himself.
At QODA we pride ourselves on developing our engineers though their career path, therefore, Geoff will not only provide his expertise to our designs but will also share his experience and know-how with the wider QODA team. He has a keen interest in passing his knowledge onto other engineers and we are excited for the collaborations and skill development that Geoff will bring to QODA.
