We know that building a truly inclusive culture is an ongoing effort, and we remain dedicated to listening, learning, and growing together.

Introduction
Our Equity, Diversity, & Inclusion (EDI) Strategy is rooted in a people-centric approach, where the needs, growth, and well-being of our employees are at the core of everything we do. By prioritising the unique needs, experiences, and perspectives of our workforce, we aim to create a culture that promotes fairness, respect, and equal opportunity for all. We believe that when our employees feel valued and know they add value, they thrive—and so does the organisation.
Through inclusivity and support, we strive to create an environment that enhances the employee experience and builds a culture where people are motivated to grow and contribute to QODA’s long-term success.

Our Approach
We approach decision-making through our EDI Forum and associated affinity groups, ensuring that the voices and insights of our employees guide the direction of our strategy and inform meaningful change. Our Diversity and Inclusion Manager maintains an open line of communication between the EDI Forum and the Senior Leadership Team, ensuring that feedback is actively listened to and that decisions reflect the needs and priorities of our people at every level of the organisation.
Our approach helps shape a workplace where our employees’ well-being, growth, and sense of belonging are central to our mission. The EDI Forum regularly reviews our progress and works collaboratively to identify the focus areas for the future. This collective decision-making ensures that our strategy remains aligned with the needs and aspirations of our employees, empowering them to shape the direction of our EDI initiatives while reinforcing the value and impact of their contributions.

EDI Forum
Our EDI Forum is a community of individuals from across the business, united by a shared commitment to enhancing Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) at QODA. Each member brings unique perspectives and experiences, shaping a more inclusive environment and ensuring we understand what matters most to our people.
The forum is pivotal in our decision-making process, providing insights and feedback on policies and EDI initiatives before they are finalised. It offers a space for colleagues with a shared interest in EDI to connect, build a supportive network, and share their passion for driving positive change. Members can update others on local EDI efforts and discuss how individual offices can contribute to the broader EDI strategy. By empowering teams to implement sustainable, meaningful changes tailored to their local context, the forum ensures our approach remains impactful and personalised.

Women at QODA
Women at QODA is an affinity group within our EDI Forum, dedicated to connecting and empowering women across the organisation. This network values the diverse perspectives of women, recognising that these are essential for creating a workplace where all women can thrive. The network provides a regular space for women to meet, share experiences, and engage in meaningful discussions, all while driving EDI initiatives. This is particularly significant given that women make up only 15% of the construction industry.
Shaped by its members, the Women at QODA network offers a community where women can connect beyond their usual circles, support one another in a secure environment, and use their collective voice to influence policies that enhance the experience of women at QODA.

Community
We believe that belonging and inclusivity go beyond the workplace, and we are actively looking for ways to support and contribute to the communities around us. Through outreach programmes, local partnerships, and volunteer opportunities, we aim to make a meaningful impact where we can. By engaging with initiatives that reflect our core values of respect, equality, and support, we strive to help build stronger, more connected communities, both within and outside of our organisation.
