Overview
Adelaide House, a Grade II listed, 129,000 ft², 13-storey office building on London Bridge, is undergoing a major transformation into a CAT A office fit-out with a ground-floor reception and a roof terrace overlooking the Thames. This landmark project combines heritage restoration with modern workplace design, ensuring the building remains relevant for the next generation of occupiers.

The goal is to preserve the building’s historic character while delivering a high-performance, sustainable office environment that meets contemporary standards for comfort, efficiency, and flexibility.

Sustainability at the Core:
Integration of air source heat pumps and energy-efficient systems to reduce operational carbon.

Full review and development of existing designs through RIBA Stages 4i, 4ii, and 4iii.

QODA’s role
QODA was appointed as MEP Design Consultants for the project, with responsibilities including the review and validation of existing designs, the development of detailed and coordinated performance packages, and the integration of sustainability measures. All work was carried out with careful consideration to ensure that modern systems were embedded without compromising the historic integrity of the building.
