This year QODA has worked on some exciting and ground-breaking projects leading the way in sustainable design. From securing planning permission on the UK’s largest Passivhaus Student Accommodation Scheme to completing projects where we’ve assisted with airtight and thermally robust construction details. A huge welcome to our new starters in our Bristol Office, Maria Valkova and Cecilia Lester! Cecilia joins our QODA Light team and has a degree in Interior Design from the University of the West of England. Maria joins as a graduate engineer. She has a master’s degree in aeronautical engineering from Imperial College London and has recently completed her PhD in multifunctional materials. Our Bristol team has already given them a warm welcome with a Thanksgiving-themed lunch.

A huge welcome to our new Graduate Engineers, Tom Buckingham, Rory Lodge, and Jamie Rose. Tom studied at the University of Southampton and joins our Oxford office. Rory completed his undergraduate degree at Queen Mary University, London, and his Master's at Cardiff University. He joins our Bristol team. Jamie studied at the University of Nottingham and joins our London team. Not only are we delighted to expand our team, but we are also thrilled to be a part of their mentorship and growth as they develop as Engineers.

Alex is part of the wider Net Zero team at QODA and leads the service in our Bristol office. As a Senior Engineer, Alex is working on many of our exciting projects in the South West region. Planning Consent Secured for Abingdon Prep School
